The default edit plane is the axis aligned plane with a normal vector nearest to that of the camera direction vector. In creation mode, interactively draw entities will be created on this plane at the zero axis intersection, i.e. x = 0, y = 0 or z = 0. When the default editing plane is active, the orientation will be indicated in the bottom right corner of the mouse cursor. The plane can be changed by pressing the TAB key. Again the orientation is indicated in the bottom right of the mouse cursor and available planes are indicated in the status bar.
