To accurately aid the selecting of entities particular curves which coexist at surface boundaries, the object highlighting features allow certain types of entities to be given priority selection over others. When the mouse cursor is in select mode and is near to a highlightable entity is will be drawn with a thicker outline. If the left mouse button is pressesd while an unselected entity is highlighted the highlighted entity will become selected. If a selected entity is highlighted and the left mouse button is pressed to select and entity then selection without prioritisation occurs. For example, if curves can be highlighted by not surfaces and you want to select a surface near the boundary. Moving the mouse cursor close to the boundary and pressing the left mouse will automatically prioritise the selection toward the curve before checking the surface. If the left mouse button is pressed again, there will be no prioritisation and the selection of either surface and curve will take place on the bases of the closest entity to the mouse cursor.

Changing the Highlighting of Entities
