50. An IntelliHull surface starts as a basic lofted based on the shape of each of the curves. However, to form the hull shape certain curves need to tagged with attribute information based on the role they play in the hull surface defintion.
51. Select the 'FwdTangent' Curve and in the attributes panel...
...in the IntelliCurve Surface Operation group choose 'Panel Break'/
This will cause the hull surface to interpolate the 'FwdParallel' curve and based on the fact that this curve is offset from the midship section curve, the tangent of the surface passing through this curve will be parallel to the shape formed by the midship section curve.
52. Repeat the process for the the 'AftParallel' Curve and set it to be a 'Panel Break'.
53. The 'BowTangent' curve need to be assigned surface attribute information too. Select the 'BowTangent' curve and in the attributes panel...
...in the IntelliCurve Surface Operation group, choose Tangent Curve.
This will cause the surface (Tangent) leaving the 'BowCurve' to aim at the 'BowTangent' curve' with tangent strength equal to the distance between the corresponding control points on each curve.
