Description

An Arc is a geometric object defined by the Three Point Arc method. The entity has limited power within the overall structure of PolyCAD as it can only be converted to a polyline. Its main purpose is the support of drawing file translations and the generation of basic outline geometry for CFD meshing tools.

Creation

Menu: Create -> Arc

Interactively create an arc by clicking the three points of the representation. The initial orientation of arc will be defined on the Default Edit Plane.

Interactive Editing

Edit mode is entered by pressing F2 displaying the control points of the arc. The control points of the entity are selected and edited using the PolyCAD standard manipulation techniques.
