Name and Colour
Specifies the option text identifier and color of the entity.
| Name | The optional text identifier of the entity |
| Colour | The colour of the entity. Clicking in the colored square will display the colour selection dialogue box. |
Controlling Hull Generation
Within the parameters group are a number of control which are used to control how the surface is updated.
| Update | Manually updates the surface after any changes to the parameters |
| Interactive Update | Checking this box causes the surface to be automatically updated after any changes to the parameters |
| Default | Returns the parameters to the initial values |
Hull Generation Parameters
The parameters group is used to specify all of the parameters used to generate the surface.

| Lwl | Waterline Length |
| Ovh | Length of the forward overhand. i.e longitudinal distance from the forward perpendicular to the extreme forward end of the vessel |
| BMax | Maximum breadth of the hull |
| Bwl | Waterline breadth of the hull |
| BTransom | Breadth of the hull at the deck at the top of the transom |
| Tc | Draught of the hull |
| Cp | Prismatric Coefficient |
| Cm | Midship Section Coefficient |
| LCB | Longitudinal centre of Buoyancy |
| Cwp | Waterplane Coefficient |
| Lcf | Longitudinal Centre of Floatation |
| FreeBow | Freeboard at the Bow |
| FreeMid | Freeboard at the midship section |
| FreeAft | Freeboard at the top of the transom |
| BowCurve | The angle of the tangent of the stem curve at the top of the stem and at the waterline. |
| Forefoot | The distance the hull drops below the waterline at the bow. |
| TransomAngle | The sloping angle of the transom. 0 degrees creates a vertical transom. |
| FlareAngle | The flare angle at the aft perpendicular. |
